  4. the character Tartarin, a hero epitomizing 
  5. southern temperament, in Tartarin de Tarascon 
  6. 1872 and two sequels. Other works include the 
  7. play L'Arlesienne/The Woman from Arles 1872, 
  8. for which Bizet composed the music; and 
  9. Souvenirs d'un homme de lettres/Recollections 
  10. of a Literary Man 1889.
